Madonna wore a Moschino camo dress to the Met Gala in NYC on Monday evening complete with parachute straps and a canteen.
The look was far from feminine and instantly was criticized for being distasteful. Tweeters accused her of mocking the military. Sarah Paulson even seemed shocked when she set eyes on the Rebel Heart singer, making a scared face.
But instead of slipping into something pretty for the Met after party, Madonna took her battle style a step further by changing into camo slacks and black combat boots.

Make it military in camouflage trousers this season
The Met Gala is renowned for its seriously high end red carpet.
The most A-list of A-listers get dolled up in luxury labels hoping to make a fashion statement as they make their way up those famous stairs. And Madonna certainly succeeded in doing just that at last night's event.
The pop superstar attended with Jeremy Scott and wore a camouflage print dress complete with undercover train and leather gloves, before changing into camo pants from Moschino's Pre-Fall 2017 collection for the after party.
This military print is a perennial wardrobe staple but is better suited to baggy utility trousers than a full length gown. Madonna's won't be available for a while yet but until then you can recreate her look by shopping our edit below.
