Who knew Rev. Al Sharpton could still get up offa that thing?
The 62-year-old civil rights activist showed off his stuff with a series of hilariously groovy dance moves Wednesday, on the set of MSNBC's "PoliticsNation."
"In studio during a break, someone asks if I could still get my James Brown on," he captioned a video he posted on Twitter. "Well to be clear…"
Sharpton put forth his best moves to Brown's funky 1973 jam "The Payback" while on the set of his political talk show, which he's been hosting since 2011.

Despite the fact he clearly knows how to shake it 'till he feels better, Sharpton has turned down several opportunities to appear on "Dancing With the Stars." He did, however, bring out his James Brown impression on network TV in 2003, when he hosted "Saturday Night Live" and burst into a rendition of "I Feel Good" with cast member Tracy Morgan during his monologue.
Sharpton spoke out last month on the fifth anniversary of Trayvon Martin's death with a speech at the New School, where he urged those who opposed President Trump's policies to stand up for themselves.
Sharpton also led a march on the national mall in January ahead of Trump's inauguration as a means of protesting Trump's policies and cabinet nominations.
