Shawn Mendes and Niall Horan have been hinting at collaborating for months, leaving fans waiting with bated breath as to when the two singers would make good on their promise. Later, they paired up at the American Music Awards last year to perform an Instagram duet of "Mercy," which undoubtedly just left everyone wanting more.
Luckily, Shawn hasn't forgotten about his pledge to make music with Niall. While hosting Camp Izze in Brooklyn today, Shawn answered some fan questions – including one about the status of his collab with Niall. "We've jammed out," Shawn explained, likely referring to his Insta duet with the One Direction singer. "But we will, we will write a song," he added, much to the delight of the crowd.
Shawn also commented on Harry Styles's debut solo single, "Sign of the Times." "I love it," Shawn said. "I didn't know his voice was that crazy, which is just really, really inspiring." So...maybe a Shawn/Harry duet is in the future too? Hey, we can dream, right?
