Timeless elegance: Newly blonde Girls star Allison Williams looked like a Hitchcock heroine in a chic tweed ensemble as she stepped out in New York on Thursday
Allison, 28, told MTV.com that she felt 'really weird' after the show ende d and that she misses her fellow 'girls' Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet.
'I'm still in a place where I'm on a group chat with the girls and we just kind of say, "I love you" every once in a while, in a way that feels like we just broke up, but we're trying to stay on good terms.
'It feels really weird.'
The star, who is promoting her new horror film Get Out, looked classically elegant in an autumnal ensemble.

Keep it classic in a plaid blazer like Allison
Allison Williams was spotted out and about today in a plaid skirt suit by Turkish designer Zeyne Parcay. She topped it with a gorgeous camel coat and sky high Christian Louboutin pumps adorned her feet.
Zeyne Parcay is a well known designer who shows at Istanbul Fashion Week and is breaking into the US Market. She'll soon be carried at Elyse Walker and Forward online too which is good news for us here in the UK. While she usually works with supple leathers with feminine, edgier details, by the looks of Allison's suit, this brand is very versatile.
We'd tone down the matchy matchy look for every day wear by teaming the jacket with a pair of straight leg jeans and tonal flats.
So why not push your style to the max with one of the plaid toppers in the edit below?
She donned a burnt orange tweed jacket with a matching flared mid-length skirt and towering nude stilettos.
Her newly blonde hair was slicked back into a ponytail and she draped a camel overcoat across her shoulders.
She kept her makeup simple with just a touch of dramatic black eyeliner and a slick of pink lipgloss.
It is not the first time Allison has flaunted her platinum blonde locks.
The star showed off her dramatic transformation earlier this month when she donned an all-black ensemble on the streets of New York.

She paired her sophisticated ensemble with patent leather pumps.
During an interview on Live with Kelly, Allison talked about how careful she has to be with her hair - even having to wear a bonnet to bed.

Allison, who married Ricky Van Veen in 2015, said that she has a 'satin pillowcase, I have a satin eye ma sk so the back of my eye mask doesn't pull on my hair and I sleep in, like a bonnet.'
While Ricky is 'very sweet' about her blonde hair, she told Kelly that he does give her hints about wanting her to go back to brunette.
'I think he just liked it when I didn't look like I did anything to myself. He genuinely prefers no effort.'
