Dustin Lynch highlights romance in the melting pot of Middle America in his new single, "Small Town Boy," mixing elements of country and hip-hop as he falls hard for a "ride-or-die baby" from the heartland.
The second release from Tullahoma, Tennessee native's upcoming (but still unannounced) third album, "Small Town Boy" opens with a seductive electric guitar hook and strutting R&B beat before the futuristic production shifts to minimalist finger snaps in the verses. With a dose of lightly Auto-Tuned vocals, Lynch declares "I'm a dirt road, in the headlights" right from the top, and the romantic chorus explodes with his appreciation for the woman who's just as cool as she is crazy.
Written by Rhett Akins, Ben Hayslip and Kyle Fishman and produced by Zach Crowell (Sam Hunt, Carrie Underwood), "Small Town Boy" is the follow-up to Lynch's fourth straight Number One, the urgent and hyper-sexual "Seein' Red." Lynch is currently opening shows on Florida Georgia Line's Dig Your Roots Tour, and will join Brad Paisley's Life Amplified World Tour as a featured supporting artist in May.
