Ariana Grande Proud Of ‘Everyday’ Music Video Beating Katy Perry’s ‘Chained To The Rhythm’

Ariana Grande's "Everyday" music video was catapulted to the top spot of the iTunes/Apple Music streaming service less than 24 hours since its release. Upon learning of this bit, the singer-actress quickly took to social media to show off the achievement of her song.

On Monday, Grande proudly shared the news to the Arianators via Instagram. She posted a screenshot of the top three music videos on the Apple Music service, and it shows her single with rapper Future in first place. Evident in the screenshot is how "Everyday" trumped Katy Perry's 6-day-old "Chained to the Rhythm" music video and Keith Urban's "The Fighter," which placed second and third, respectively.

Grande revealed in her post that the new "Everyday" music video is her favorite. She then thanked everyone for the "loving response" and also gave a shoutout to the director of the steamy music video, Chris Marrs Piliero. Grande admitted that she loved working with the MTV Video Music Award-winning actor-director.

Many Arianators who were proud of Grande's achievement gave the "Scream Queens" star positive comments. One fan wrote: "I'm so happy for you. You make me so proud." Another fan chimed in: "You're welcome, baby! I love you so much! I'm over the moon that it's number one! You deserve it more than anything, darling!"

Grande's new music video is currently making headlines for its strong message of love in all forms. TIME lauds the singer for the "cheeky and frank conversation about sexuality" that is being portrayed by the video. The Huffington Post calls it "surprisingly steamy" and loves the fact that Grande plays a sort of modern-day Cupid in it.

Meanwhile, Grande is still on tour. Her latest stop was in Cleveland, and she thanked the fans who attended her show via Instagram. On Monday night, she's set to conquer the Verizon Center in Washington. Grande's Dangerous Woman tour will run until June 17 of this year. Ticket sales and other information about her concerts are available on her website.
